Has The Rump lost his freaking mind? Trump firing of Comey will lead to impeachment!
TERRANCE GAVAN – BLOGGER AND BOLSHEVIK
How many Russians does it take to unscrew a White House?
One, and his name is Vladdy Putin.
Or two, if you include the inane President of the USA, The Rump, Donald Trump.
When Donald Trump sent one of his own Queens, New ‘Yahk’ bodyguards over to FBI headquarters to deliver an impromptu cease and desist order to his now former FBI Director, James Comey, he knew that Comey was in Los Angeles delivering a pep talk to some wannabee G-Men and Women.
Yep. That’s right. The top cop was on a recruitment drive and he read about his ouster on a scroll from CNN that was flashing “Breaking News” on a television that was playing at the back of the conference room.
Comey thought it was a joke.
And so too, now, do most right thinking people and law enforcement units all across America.
And the unfunny thing about this hilarious charade, is that it’s not a joke, it’s true. A president of a democracy (we think) who is under investigation for philandering with a sworn enemy, an enemy that kicked the shit out of a presidential election process through a meandering and targeted cyber campaign, that president Donald The Rump Trump fired the guy who was asking for more funds to support his independent investigation of that president and his cronies. It’s not funny.
No, it’s not funny. It’s dangerous and it’s seditious and it’s something that a former President Tricky Dick Nixon was impeached for back in 1973 on the night of the long knives.
Impeached. Donald The Rump is full on, blown up, whacked out and dead-on impeachable now.
No, none of this is funny.
But, it is odd. Odd that The Rump just admitted to newsman Lester Holt that he had made up his mind to fire him for some time. Now that flies in the face of the original four explanations that have squished and oozed out of the white house slatherbuck since the original faux “we did it for Hillary” explanation that arrived with the missive.
We know The Rump is a pathological liar, but even we are overwhelmed by the degree of swishy widgets that have accompanied this story.
The Holt bramble and dangle was a canard. The Rump unloaded on Comey in a tirade that was unworthy of Attila The Hun.
“He’s a showboat, he’s grandstander, the FBI has been in turmoil,” Trump said of Comey in his wide-ranging interview with Holt. “You know that, I know that. Everybody knows that. You take a look at the FBI a year ago, it was in virtual turmoil, less than a year ago. It hasn’t recovered from that.”
Trump said he never tried to pressure Comey into dropping the FBI probe of the Trump campaign and insisted, “I want to find out if there was a problem in the election having to do with Russia.” (From NBC News)
Now, why is this impeachable? Because on the day he fired Comey, in the letter he threw out, The Rump said that he had accepted the recommendation of the attorney general and the DAG (Deputy Attorney General) and that he was following their recommendations to fire Comey.
He’s a showboat and a grandstander.
And when asked about the second para of the letter, that weird little shitkick about Comey giving him a pass on the investigation, Trump told Holt that he had asked him at dinner, on a phone call and on another phone call.
I think he was lying. Many people think he’s lying. The answer was a swerve. We all know Trump lies. And by now we know how he lies. He stutters, he stammers and his words start to meander into mushy slush.
Never mind that phoning the FBI Director to inquire about an ongoing investigation is banana republic shit. It’s an impeachable offense. So even if he’s telling the truth? And even if Comey did breach every ethical boundary he’s ever admitted to, and many who know him don’t think that Comey would stoop that low, well, then the President and the FBI Director colluded to disinclude the President from a live investigation into treason.
Not funny. Impeding an investigation or pressuring the FBI can be seen only as an impeachable act. High crimes and misdemeanours.
What’s funny about this whole thing?
Trump and his aides thought that this was a completely innocent act. They actually thought that by firing Comey and then blaming it on how Comey treated Hillary during the election would pass the sniff test.
Hard to believe that anyone or any entity could be that stupid, that moronic.
